Blog post # 9 - a hobby

I have a several hobbies that i do in me free time, but the most that i practice and my favorite is an alternative sport called skateboarding, this sport is my favorite beacuse helps me to relax and clear myself of the problems that i may have in certain moments of my life. The first time that i stand up in a skateboard was at the age of 10, beacuse my best friend called Damian had two skateboards and told me if want to try, i said yes and after 30 seconds i had already fallen in the ground, after that time i dont stand up in a skateboard until i was 13 years old and i did not gett of my board until today. The things that make me love this sport are several, like the variety of trick that you can do with yourd board, sush a flatground trick , slides and grinds in rails and ledges, etc, another thing that i love of the skate is that the perseverance is so important, beacuse you always fall in the ground trying a trick , but you shuold always stand up on your feet and keep trying. Blog Post # 7: Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry  Is an architect born in Canada in 1929, settled in the United States, winner of the Pritzker Prize, recognized by the innovative and peculiar forms of the buildings he designs, h e developed his own architectural style that was gaining international recognition. Gehry's architecture is striking, often made with unfinished materials. In the same building he incorporates several simple geometric forms, which create a visual harmony between them, one of his most recognized works are the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the skyscraper 8 Spruce Street in New York and the Dancing House in Prague. I like Frank Gehry because he is one of the contemporary architects who considers that architecture is an art, in the sense that once finished a building, this must be considered a work of art, which is reflected in the way in which Gehry realizes his architecture because his work really looks like an sculptures.

Blog Post # 6 what happened on may 25th?

On May 25th, I was getting up to go to class when I saw the clock and I realized that I was very late, it was 8-10, so I decided to leave quickly to be able to get to the class on time, I was on the bus when I realized that people were watching me, I did not understand why they looked at me, so I kept listening to music ignoring their looks, it was there when a woman approached me and ask me if I was okay, I asked her why she asked me that, she told me That I was bleeding a lot in the ear, I worried I decided to get off the bus and go to my house, but I walk 2 steps and I faint in the ground of the bus, when I wake up I was in the hospital with my parents and I asked what happened,I said that I had no idea , it was there when the doctor entered to the room and told me that I fainted because I had low defenses and lack of sleep, it was there when I remember that I had only slept 1 hour the day before and That very night I was very sick. This is a fake history and i did not go to class...

  This picture was taken in December of 2015 in Bariloche , when i was in the " class trip" of junior year of high school, this picture wes taken by a friend's dad when we were going to a disco with disguises . I like this photo because its very funny and also beacuse  that week that I was traveling with my friends was one of the best I've had in my life,  It was a trip full of anecdotes and fun moments that to remember create a smile on my face. this photo of besides giving me joy also gives me a sad feeling because many of my friends that i have'nt seen in a long time because the university, and I remember that before I saw them every day gives me nastalgic feeling.

Cidade de deus. I've seen a lot of movies that i considered good productions, these films are mostly  European or American , however one of my favorites films is a latin american production called "Cidade de Deus"(City of God). City of God is a Brazilian film ( based on a real story written by Paulo Lins) o f action and drama directed by Fernando Meirelles and released in 2002, The film focuses on the war between Zé Pequeño and Mané Galinha, developed in a favela in Rio de Janeiro called "City of God". The story began in 1960 in a favela recently created in Rio, when three young men from the area called the trio tenderness of a hotel robbery next to the children called Dadinho and bene (those who later led the Ze pequeño band). Blog post 2 - Why did you choose this career / study programme?

When I was a little child i wanted to be a football player , I dont know why but this sport was the only thing that  I was thinking about . later when i was a teenager i began to think about study a career in the university , I had many options , I thought about art, journalism, psychology, ecoturism, sociology and arquitecture , but in the end choose to study arquitecture because this career has things that interest me a lot , like drawing, doing mockups and create space where the people can live, also thought that the arquitecture is very important for the development of the society, I chose the University of Chile because i think that is the best university fot this career , until now my experience has been really good , I've met a lot of people and I'm learning really interesting things about this carrer , when i am an architect, i would like to try works related to this career, to see what I like more, i would like to design skyscraper and design public spaces such as pa...
